Very original and Adele’s got such an emotive voice. She mixes Lily Allen-type lyrics with an Amy Winehouse-like soul voice and you have a unique artist indeed which is shown indefinitely on her debut single, Chasing Pavements.
This is an excellent song and Adele sings it so well and shes even excellent live too (Jonathan Ross show).

I think she should have a diet and try to keep her voice stable instead to produce that squirrel noises when she is trying to groove the beat.

weight is not important at all….she’s great and she’s got a wonderful voice and that squirrel noises as you said are actually what make her voice so different from some other singer.

Most original video (chasing pavements) I’ve seen in a while, and if you take the time to listen to the lyrics, it’ll relate to a lot of peoples problems. I love her. I’d marry her in a heartbeat.

love the song, love her voice… I was on youtube listening to it, and reading some of the comments, anyway one of the viewers said there was a video by a russian singer which was the same… i watched it and although it is not “identical” it is very similar storyline.

The first time I heard Adele it was haunting. I would hear the song and never remember the name or the artist. It made me bloody mad. Bonkers. I was always asking people who was that singing. Finally I remembered her name wrote it down and pulled Adele up on U Tube. The first time I saw the video for chasing pavements I cried. Its like watching ballet. I think you are amazingly sensitive and talented Adele. I told all my friends to watch the video. I was like a walking advertisement for the video. I think you have to have a little bit of an artistic soul to fully understand that video. You go Girl!!!!
