The Pussycat Dolls teamed up with A.R. Rahman, Jimmy Iovine and producer Ron Fair in recording their latest song, an English version of Slumdog Millionaire’s movie theme “Jai Ho“, which won the Oscar for best original song in February 2009. The version featuring English verses sung by the Dolls was officially released as “Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)” featuring A.R. Rahman with Nicole Scherzinger and the Pussycat Dolls on February 23, 2009 in the U.S. iTunes Store, the international release came on February 24.
The song peaked at #15 on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The music video, shot in a Vienna trainyard, alludes to the dance sequence in the film.
The Pussycat Dolls recreated the last scene from Slumdog Millionaire in the video, you can watch it here, this is the official version.
