The single is Cyrus’ first chart entry on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts since “The Other Side” in 2003, as well as his first Top 10 entry since 1999’s “Busy Man” which peaked at #3.
Originally recorded as a solo song, “Ready, Set, Don’t Go” was re-released in October of 2007 as a duet with Cyrus’ daughter Miley Cyrus. Upon the release of the duet version, the song saw a significant increase in airplay.

i love this song it is amazing they make such a good team it so happy it always makes me cry!! But it has to be my favorite song she sings! I love her voice at the very beginning when she sings her first verse her voice just pops out so much it is so unique and i love it!
