“Womanizer” is the lead single by Britney Spears from her forthcoming sixth studio album, entitled Circus, which is set for release in the United States on December 2, 2008, in accordance with Spears’s 27th birthday.
The song was released to radio stations on September 26, 2008 in the United States.
The video is directed by Joseph Kahn and it was filmed on 24 and 25 September 2008 at Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant and Elevate Lounge on the 21st floor of an office building in downtown L.A.

Children, you all need to close your mouthes. Although I’m a huge Britney fan, I’m not sure this is the big ‘comeback’ song we were all anticipating. I could see this as being release three off of the album. Definately not the lead track.

Emmmm this song is a nit weak as a lead single!
Like there are songs unreleased from Black out like: Get Naked or Toy Soldier that could perform much better than Womanizer.
Im sure it will do well but honestly its not a great lead single after such great songs from Blackout.
