Diamond Rings is the third single by rapper Chipmunk, from his sophomore album, “I Am Chipmunk”. The song was released digitally on 5 July 2009 and physically on Compact Disc a day later. It features Emeli Sande singing the chorus.
The song peaked at #6 on UK Singles Chart.
The music video itself does not feature Emeli Sande, who does provide the actual vocals for the chorus, but for reasons unknown is replaced by an alternative woman who appears throughout the video miming along to the pre-recorded vocals of Emeli Sande.

the girl is emeli sande…great tune, except are the words not
‘good lord I remember the days, I’d pray for a rolly or a cartier’ as in the expensive watches, which is why he points it out in the video when he says that!

Its a good song, i partly love it because the of the video. Emeli and Chipmunk and the audience are 1920’s style dressed in 1920’s clothes and jewellery. Its glam and its simple.

I absolutely love this tune. The tune just makes you want to move to the beat where ever you are. Can be embarressing if your in the shop lol.
