Chris Brown Is Invading the World of Country Music

R ‘n’ B Singer, Chris Brown, is invading the world of country music by recording a song titled ‘Trapped in a Dream’.
Though his career has been overshadowed lately by the alleged assault he did to Rihanna, Chris Brown attempts to make a breakthrough in his singing career and he is back in the studio working on some new music. But forget the old gossip about him recording with ex-girlfriend Rihanna; the newest rumor says Brown is looking to get a little bit country by recording a country song. The reported track is titled “Trapped in a Dream” and will possibly be listed in his upcoming new album, E! News reports.
And not only is he thinking about using the track, he may even get a country artist into the studio to help him record it. In a bid to support his song, Chris will ask for help from one or two country music stars. “Maybe we’ll see an appearance from Carrie Underwood or someone like that”, Robert Allen, a writer and producer who’s been working with Chris, said at the BMI Pop Awards in Beverly Hills on Tuesday night, May 19. “It’s that kind of song,” he added.
Asked by E! News what the song is all about, Robert Allen explained, “It’s just feeling like you don’t want that dream to go away. Everybody has a dream and you’re in it, but you wake up and you’re like, ‘Oh, my God.’ You feel like you’re still in that dream.”
20-year-old Chris has submerged himself in work since he was accused of punching, hitting and choking Rihanna until she was unconscious in his rented Lamborghini on February 8. Robert explained to E!: “We just focus on music. We’re just happy-go-lucky people who just get into the studio as much as possible.”
Besides, Ciara told MTV that she will keep her Brown duet, “Turntables”, on her latest album, Fantasy Ride. “If I alter it, it’s not going to sound the same. So for me, really it’s nothing more than about the music, so I kept it there.”
Chris is the latest in a string of artists to try their hand at country music. Jessica Simpson recently released a country album, which included collaboration with Dolly Parton.
Moreover, earlier this week, Jennifer Love Hewitt’s boyfriend Jamie Kennedy revealed the actress is branching out into music. He said: “Jennifer is writing a country song. I really want to make her a new demo for her music, because I think she should do singing again. She’s so good.”
