Why is it some people have a problem with her falling in love with a guy in the video that does not correspond to the usual boring, cliché, stereotypical north American manufactured ideal of beauty?
In the video the characters like eachother, she is happy all the time, he makes her laugh, and thats what’s important! Thats kind of what the song is about too: she ‘Cant help fallin for him’, despite what other people think. That is the message. Most people’s tastes have been so shaped by the media that we all tend to find only one type attractive. We should not let this mask our human side.

This song rocks! It completely describes how I am feeling about someone in my life. I’m seeing where the road takes me. But liking someone is an amazing feeling, I seem to have a permanent smile that never goes away and often find myself thinking of him when I awake and when I lay down to sleep. Maybe someday, if things go right, I will tell him how I feel! Until then, like the song says, I’m too scared, scared of consequences! I can’t believe no one recognized the guy in this video from Saturday Night Live. His name is Bobby Moynihan. I recognized him immediately. I think the whole point of the video is that he’s a funny, clutzy, goofy kind of guy, but she can’t help “falling for” him despite all that. It’s actually a great concept for a video - kudos to the creators!

this is one kind of song which from the very first time i heard of the melody it hooked me and dragged me to listen to it until i don’t know when…cool set of beat and lyrics for a pop-ballad which merits a rating along with the “classic” line-up for listeners to enjoy, now and beyond…top it off by watching J.
