David Cook Album Review

David Cook is the major-label self-titled debut album, second overall, from seventh season American Idol winner David Cook.
The album was released on November 18, 2008 in the United States and has sold approximately 582,000 copies to date.
David Cook released his own independent debut album ‘Analog Heart’ in 2006.

Produced by Grammy winning Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock), David Cook is a quality album full with radio hits.
Cook co-wrote 9 songs from his debut, along with songwriters like Chris Cornell, Brian Howes & Cathy Dennis.

If you’re expecting the usual pop songs and cliche lyrics that tend to come out of American Idol, then this album will surprise you!
If you like the music sound of Bon Jovi, Daughtry, U2, then you’ll love this album.
The album is an eclectic mix that range from slow evocative ballads to hard driving rockers, which should both appease his fans from the show and encourage appreciation from new listeners.

You are soooooooooo right! I love his album more and more every day and blast it in the car and sing along to all the songs. I really feel David Cook’s music. Not your average poppy-Idol winner by a long shot!
