The original reached number one on iTunes top 100 on June 23, 2008, and debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #11 for the issue dated July 5, 2008.

Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas - This is Me Song Information
This is the song that Demi Lovato’s character, Mitchie Torres, sang in Camp Rock with Joe Jonas’s character, Shane Gray. Mitchie wrote the song in the beginning of the movie, and was later heard (in an acoustic version on piano), but not seen, by Shane, who set out to search for the girl behind the amazing voice.
After most people performed already in the “Final Jam” session, Mitchie sang the song (original version), and Shane saw her and sang part of the song he wrote, Gotta Find You. The two songs are combined to make the original version, as featured on the soundtrack.

This is a great song. Joe has such a unique voice an so does Demi. Their voices really mix well and i hope that the Jonas Brothers keep writing more songs. I luv u guys!

omg this song is ttlu me i get stage fright sometimes but just last year in school my choir teacher has really encouaged me to just let it all out. at the end of my song everyone and i really do mean everyone was yelling and screaming and clapping i have to say that was the best day of my life.
but demi and the jo bros have really inspired me to go all out and just let any and everyone hear my voice. i love you guys soooooo much.
