Actually, in the original version, it was ‘kiss me’.
But Disney changed it to ‘hold me’ because they thought it was inappropriate for the tweens.
Which is stupid, ’cause they didn’t change a line that Joe Jonas said in a song that was more forceful, haha.

This song doesn’t have the “wow” factor. Demi’s voice is average and doesn’t bring anything original to the music scene. She needs a better song with a little more personality….a song that would mean something more than just singing because she got a contract…she needs a song that holds a special meaning and bares some soul.

Get Back is amazing, true, and easy to relate to. Demi rocks!! She is super talented & this song in particular is awesome. I hope she keeps producing more just like this one. And the original version is kiss me, disney version is hold me.
