28,000 Friends is the first single by 16-year-old Irish pop singer and X Factor finalist Eoghan Quigg, from his upcoming debut album Eoghan Quigg, which will be released on 6th April 2009.
The song was written for Quigg by former Busted member James Bourne.
The video began to receive airplay on 18th March 2009 on UK music channels including The Box and new channel Starz. You can also watch it here.
The lyrics are about collecting so-called ‘friends’ on sites like MySpace and Facebook and not even knowing who any of them are.

i love the style of it.

i love love eoghan quigg he is hot hot hot.i think 28,ooo friends is a great song for him.i hope he has his own concert soon. i would defintly would go and see him.he should have won x factor instead of alexandra even though alexandra is a really good i still think he should have won.and i bet eoghan is getting chased every were he goes and if he comes to cork ill be one of the girls i hope he will come soon

honestly people, do you not listen to real music?
this song is an offense to the term ‘music.’
firstly, whats with the busted voice?
secondly, whats with the lyrics? they’re shit..if he wants people to appreciate what he does he should write them himself, showing how he actually feels, not some ’songwriter.’
and i wish he’d stop selling his silly stories to stupid cheap magazines, about how diana never loved him and she broke his heart blah blah blah blah blah.
If he wants the respect of the music industry he should quit running around for the affection of 13 year old girls and write and sing about things that actually matter.

This song is so good i love it so much it is brilliant it is my favourite song in THE WORLD he is such a good singer
