Following the success of dance masters like David Guetta, the marriage between trance and AOR continues, this time with Filo & Peri, the Bronx DJs, helped out by Californian rock singer Eric Lumiere in this “Anthemic” number bringing together the worst stereotypes of two genres that have been going on for too long. Although it’s likely to become one of the biggest end of the year’s dance smashes and cross over into the mainstream charts, it all sounds a bit dated and incredibly booring.
