Geraldine McQueen - Once Upon a Christmas Song Video and Lyrics

Once Upon a Christmas Song is the second single by fictional character Geraldine McQueen from Britain’s Got the Pop Factor….
Peter Kay plays Geraldine with a a magic that few comedians have. Although in reality it would be classed as terrible, you can’t help but sing along and catch the tune in your head for days

The song has been co-written by Gary Barlow from Take That and Kay and will be released on December 15, 2008.

You can listen this catchy song, over and over, and over again here, this is the brand new official video.

Geraldine McQueen - Once Upon a Christmas Song Lyrics

(Have you been a good little boy?)

(Have you been a good little girl?)

Once upon a Christmas song,
Everybody sang along,
You’d see the joy on every face,
And the world it seemed a happier place,
These songs bought us together (together)
Good time memories forever (forever),
Now I know what they mean,
And what they’ve given to me,
I’d have never believed,

Because we’d be singing them,
Over and over, and over again,
Every December they get in our heads,
Turn em’ up, play em loud,
Every Christmas should be the same,
Singing them over and over, and over and over again.

They say they’re good for the soul (Good for the soul),
But someone tell me I don’t know,
Why no one seems to write them no more (Write them no more),
So the only way to settle the score,
Is to all make way for a new one,
That keeps the heart of the old one,
With a little bit of festive cheer,
And you’ll know when Christmas is near,
When this record appears, once a year,

You’ll be singing this over and over, and over again,
Every December you’ll hear it and say,
Turn it up, play it loud,
Every Christmas should be the same,
Singing it over and over, and over and over again,

It’s getting in your head (It’s getting in your head),
It’s getting in your head (It’s getting in your head),
And if your not singing it all night,
You’d be telling a lie,

You’ll be singing this over and over, and over again,
Every December you’ll hear it and say,
Turn it up, play it loud,
Every Christmas should be the same,
Singing it over and over, forever and ever again,

Over and over, and over again,
(Repeat 7 times)

  3. Psyduck Ranger Says:

I prefer this version, where the last line is repeated far more than seven times, and it fades out, rather than just quickly cutting out on the iTunes version…

Even so, Geraldine for number 1! She was robbed of the top spot last time!

I have literally been listening to this song for the last two days over and over and over again. LOL

Thanks to the earlier post that changed the lyrics posted here. This might be the way the song lyrics were written originally but the final recording is the way they are sung. I have written below all the lyrics as I hear them on the song.

I hope all listen to this over and over and over, forever and ever again. LOL

Thank you Harry for correcting the lyrics.
