“Hood Nigga” is the first single off rapper Gorilla Zoe’s debut album, Welcome to the Zoo. It was officially released via iTunes on July 17, 2007. The song is produced by Chris Flame and Dee Jay Dana. The censored version replaces the prominent “nigga” with “figga,” which is also derogatory slang, possibly in reference to the various colors (races) he mentions in the song.

In the video, Zoe drives up in his Chevrolet exclaiming that he has 24-inch Tires, while pulling up to pick up a young woman. Zoe then proceeds to go to various locations, such as a basketball court, and finally to the club at approximately nighttime.

Russell “Block” Spencer, Boyz n da Hood, Yung Joc, 8Ball, Trae, and DJ Drama make cameo appearances in the video.
