Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) by John & Edward featuring Vanilla Ice is the first single release for the Irish duo also known as Jedward. The single is a mashup of “Under Pressure“, originally recorded in 1981 by Queen and David Bowie, and “Ice Ice Baby“, recorded in 1989 by Vanilla Ice.
The identical twins have risen to fame since appearing in the sixth series of The X Factor in 2009, in a phenomenon described as the “Jedward paradox”.
The song was released in the United Kingdom on 31 January 2010 via download, and as a physical single on 15 February 2010 via Sony Music. John & Edward are now managed by The X Factor judge Louis Walsh.
