The music video is similarly different from the one officially put up on the Internet. On the Tv premiere, fans in the crowd were holding up signs saying “I love you Nick” while the sign on the music video on the Internet says “Next time fall on me Joe”.
The music video is in black-and-white.

When You Look Me in the Eyes has already made an impact on iTunes after just two days of the video debuting. It first debuted at 60, and then climbed 20 places to number 40 shortly after. It now sits and has peaked at number 7. It also made an impact on Billboard Hot 100 as it climbed from number 85 to number 49; it now sits at number 25.
