“Heartless” is the second single by American rapper Kanye West, from his upcoming fourth album 808s & Heartbreak, which will be released on November 25, 2008.
‘Heartless‘ was released on October 15, 2008 and much like the first single off the album, “Love Lockdown“, the song is Auto-Tuned.
The music video was directed by Hype Williams and was released on November 7, 2008. It uses the rotoscoping animation technique, which West claims was inspired by the 1981 animated film American Pop, where a vast amount of character animations were traced over live-action footage.
