The Toby Gad produced song has now been updated to include a feature from Train frontman Pat Monahan, who is currently riding high on the charts thanks to the success of the Train hit “Hey Soul Sister“.

NO!! Kris Allen fans overwhelmingly dislike this new version of “the Truth” which sounds jarring when the voices change for Pat to sing the bridge. Why are two guys singing a break-up song? I love Kris and his music. Kris’ original version of this song is beautiful. Why was it changed?? If this is truly Kris’ second single his fans are going to go crazy and not in a good way. Look at his official website to see their reactions. They SUPPOSEDLY were asked for comments… is Jive trying to ruin Kris’ career???
