“Saving My Face” is an alternative rock song performed by Scottish singer KT Tunstall. It is the eighth track on Tunstall’s third album, Drastic Fantastic, released in 2007. It is due to be the second single from the album. According to Tunstall’s website, the single will be available as a digital download on 12 November and physically on the 19 November. The song was inspired by a documentary Tunstall watched on the Discovery Channel “about old women having really disturbing amounts of plastic surgery to look very, very young.”

The song is currently gaining airplay on UK music channels, and is currently B-listed on Radio 1.

KT Tunstall - Saving My Face Video Review

The video for Saving My Face was premiered online in late October, 2007. The video is noted for its use of special effects. It features Tunstall leaving a bar and walking through empty city streets, as broken bits and pieces of her guitar fly by her. Occasionally, her figure turns ghostly, and phases back in later scenes. Towards the end of the video, the bits and pieces of the guitar materialize in her hand, after which she plays her guitar for the rest of the video.
