i LOVEE this song, i think it is a classic :D:D
I first saw her when she was playing at lilly allen’s gig up in leeds and tbh i thought she put lilly allen to shame.
La roux will go far i think it is an awsome song and the remix is also tidy :D

I love this song and I love La Roux. Songs don’t have to make sense, look at David Bowie! I like her voice it is different.
Her style is really cool and I love the 80’s synths. Brilliant and I hope they win the mercury prize.

These are not the right lyrics: the last part (is not “Let’s go on to make me…”) but should read:
Let’s go to wars to make peace
Let’s be cold to creat heat
I hope in darkness we can see

@emma Songs are not meant to read as rational poems or messages, songs are about the emotions and moods expressed. That song makes sense to me.
About singing : Anyone who sings outside the shower knows she has talent and she has shown the resonance in her voice in many live shows. Anyhow, singers are not asked to be technicians but asked to convey emotion as far as I am concerned.
And I appreciate that La Roux is not a star at heart, but more often a humble artist at heart.
