Not Fair is the second single by British pop singer-songwriter Lily Allen, from her second studio album, It’s Not Me, It’s You.
The single was released as digital download on March 20, the official release being February 19th 2009.
In the song, Allen describes a dilemma with her new, wonderful boyfriend: he’s bad in bed.
“Not Fair” was played by DJ Ken Bruce on BBC Radio 2 days before the release of the album, and was heavily edited to 02:04, removing the line “Oh I lie here in the wet patch in the middle of the bed, I’m feeling pretty damn hard done by, I’ve spent ages giving head”.
The music video was directed by Melina Matsoukas and filmed in Los Angeles on 19 February 2009.
