‘This Time’ is the name of her latest album, this album really surprised me, it’s her best work yet !

Fourth solo album from the former Spice Girl (she was Sporty Spice if you’re keeping track). Produced by Stephen Hague (New Order, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Pet Shop Boys, etc), This Time has a heavier feel to it as she moves away from lightweight Dance/Pop into rockier terrain. Includes the first single, her take on The Strangeloves/Bow Wow Wow hit ‘I Want Candy’.

She’s lucky to have that distinctive voice and a loyal, if small, fanbase. But unless she finds that magic song (or, dare we say it, goes on a reality tv show), the concept of Melanie C as a solo artist is so uncool to the current generation of single buyers it’s unlikely she’ll be bothering the charts too much ever again.

Even though I hadn’t listen to the other albums of Melanie, I think this is a true masterpiece. All the songs are wonderful, you can notice the evolution of this artist since being a spice girl till’know. I really enjoy the album, I recommend it!!! Northen Star was a really surprise for the spice girls’ fans, with a new style in Melanie’s songs, voice and rythms. This Time is different but better than Northern Star. Great for Mel!!!! Let’s continue with the support of true artists.
