Michael Jackson - King of Pop Album Review

Michael Jackson returns with an album containing his fans favourite tracks. King of Pop is a compilation album in celebration of Michael Jackson’s 50th birthday on August 29, 2008. Each album for each different country will contain different collections along with a brand new unreleased track.

Michael is putting the finishing touches to his new CD. Ne-yo, Will i am, Akon and Teddy Riley will be assisting.
The album’s launch was made public on June 20, 2008, in support of the Australian version. The first release date for the compilation is August 22, 2008, in support of the German edition.

Aside from the tracks selected by fans there will also be rare tracks, previously unreleased material and a “MegaMix” by Jason Nevins.

If you’re a die hard fan our advice is to buy it.

Prior to the release of King of Pop, Jackson issued the double-disc album Thriller 25, a 25th anniversary edition of Thriller.
The set contained the original nine tracks from Thriller, re-mixes and a new song called “For All Time”. Two singles were released to moderate success: “The Girl Is Mine 2008” and “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ 2008“.
