Send It On is the campaign theme for Disney’s Friends for Change, a pro-social “green” initiative that started in the summer of 2009.
The artist’s involved the song include Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Selena Gomez. The song was released to Radio Disney on August 7, 2009 and to iTunes on August 11th.
All proceeds from the digital purchases of the song will go to environmental charities throughout the world. Disney Channel will premiere the song’s music video on August 14, 2009.
The song was written by country star Taylor Swift.
