Newton Faulkner - All I Got Lyrics
All I gotta do is sit around and wait,
All I gotta do is not anticipate,
Every word I said I should’ve taken back,
All I gotta do is get my brain on track.
And I know what you’re thinking,
That you know what’s coming now.
Everywhere I look,
Everything is looking so good,
And everyone is you.
And I know I tend to rush straight in
I just don’t know where to begin
When everyone is you
Everyone is…
All I gotta do is just hold back and wait,
But every time I try I make the same mistake,
All I gotta do is make myself relax,
All I gotta do is keep my brain on track.
And I know what you’re thinking
That you know what’s coming now.
Everywhere I look,
Everything is looking so good,
And everyone is you.
And I know I tend to rush straight in,
I just don’t know where to begin,
When everyone is you.
Everyone is…
And I hope that you find it,
If freedom is all that you want,
I can see a silver lining,
I’ll be here time after time,
time after time after all.
Everywhere I look,
Everything is looking so good,
And everyone is you.
And I know I tend to rush straight in,
I just don’t know where to begin,
When everyone is you.
Newton Faulkner - All I Got Review
We have to confess to ignoring Mr Faulkner up till now. Unlike Jo Whiley, we didn’t consider the disgusting-haired singer songwriter - so bland he makes Michael Buble sound like a Thom Yorke side project - worth our attention. But you, or someone you know, went out and bought his album by the ton so now we’re giving him another listen. And we’re at even more of a loss to understand the appeal. If we want sappy MOR schlock we’ll listen to the John Barrowman album - he’s covered Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Time After Time’ and he’s been in a Tardis. Have you done any of those things, Newton? No, you bloody haven’t! Get out of our sight.

hey man, I saw Timothy Faulkner in Munich this year supporting John Butler. I tell you, this extraordinary singer/songwriter made this little 900 km journey worth it. gifted with a great voice, beeing talented in playing the guitar and to get in touch with the audience: that is, what performing is about and Timothy has it all. Go on like this! I’ll watch out for the next time you come to Germany,

The reviewer clearly has no idea what good music sounds like - maybe they just can’t hear properly and think that the **** that you hear blasted from many a chav’s car is ‘good music’? I dunno…
Newton Faulkner all the way - he’s brilliant live and well worth a listen!

dude, the review’s a dud to get us all leaving comments.
would they really put “What a great song ! A truly amazing voice and a wicked video, enjoy !” at the top, followed by a hideously negative review?
I think not
Anyhoo, love newton faulkner, he’s a genius in a nutshell. ♥

the reviewer of this tune must enjoy more of a rock hard member in the ear sort of tune. Newt gets a little mellow for me sometimes but this track is dynomite. Its got groove, its got soul, whether you want to or not it’ll make you move….unless your stuck in a pile of that mess left in your ear. if the review IS a fake thats a dirty ploy by a desperate website for attn. peace\/

First of all, to all you ignorant fools who replied to this review, I’d like to inform you all that the reviewer clearly has a chronic case of cerebral leprosy i.e. his/her sense of decency, taste, perception etc. are all falling off. Therefore some sympathy for the hearing impaired child is required.
Secondly, when I heard Faulkner’s voice, i didn’t expect him to have ginger dreds and a mini-santa. Does that matter? His look and voice are two complete contrasts thus making records sell. He’s like Zach De La Rocha meets singing. Quality.
Thirdly and lastly, he may not have covered Lauper’s “Time After Time” but he did attend the best music school in Europe and cover a nationally reknown anthem (i.e. “Teardrop”), and that’s got to count for something. And who the fuck gives a flying pig’s bollock about John Barrowman. Poor comparison.

yea that review is a load of nonsense, who ever wrote it is a complete tard, would like to see him try and make music so amazing, probably cant even play the triangle, that review annoyed me, if you dont like the guy then sod off and dont criticise him, i hate reviewers, bunch of tossers

That review is bizarre… What Newton Faulkner does is bring the percussive aspect of guitar that people like Preston Reed and Justin King have perfected to the masses by making actual catchy pop songs out of it… This is surely not only a good thing, but is musically innovative and important! I don’t think I’m away from the mark in suggesting that to say Newton Faulkner is bland means you’ve missed something crucial…
Also, he covers the Spongebob song!
Idiots…
