‘Something in Your Mouth‘ is the second single by Canadian post-grunge band Nickelback, from their upcoming sixth studio album, titled Dark Horse, which is coming on November 18, 2008.
The first single from the album, Gotta Be Somebody, was released on September 29 and debuted at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 the chart week of October 18, 2008.

Okay, I normally like Nickelback but this song, not for me u_u. It’s kinda sad if you ask me u_u Anyways, w/e.

This song rocks!!,
Sees Nickelback returning to a hard rock sound with adult themed lyrics, similar to past hits “Animals” and “Figured You Out”. The song is very fast paced with a prominent guitar riff, and describes a girl who teases the guys with suggestive dancing and sexual innuendos. Lead singer Chad Kroeger comments during the chorus on how she sucks on her thumb by stating, “You’re so much cooler when you never pull it out, cause you look so much cuter with something in your mouth.”

Nicelback has done it again! Return to the glory of “Figured You Out” with an edgy theme and a solid hard driving beat.
I’ve already started working this out on my guitar and can’t wait until I am jamming along with it and full volume!

I personaly love this song. Good beat, gotta love it. I hate when people just don’t know good music. We all have are opinions but if your gonna hate keep it to yourself no one wants to hear you dis their favorite band or song. I mean if you do at least be polite about it. Im 13 and love this song, I understand what its talkn’ about and i still love it. This and Animal are definatly my favorites. Nickelbacks a great band and can play heavy stuff that gets you movin’ or songs like Photograph and gotta be somebody that gets you smiling. Im so extremly glad they came out with more songs that make you start singing along or dancing even if you can’t. Nickelback rocks and i hope they have more albums out in the future!

I generally think Nickelback sucks, especially the last couple years when the toed the whiney bitch-boy party line for a while.
But this song rocks, and is a signal harkening to a real rock sound: hard driving, slamming guitar riffs, emotion-filled voice, and unapologetic lyrics.

I made a little mistake
The pre-chorus line: “pretty little lady with the pretty pink thong” should actually be “dirty little lady with the pretty pink thong”.
At the end (during the repeating chorus (2x)) the first chorus contains “(you’re such a mover)” and this only occurs during the very last chorus… the one immediately before it leaves it out.
There is also debate on whether or not “I love the way you dance with ANYbody” should be “I love the way you dance with EVERYbody”. It’s really hard to tell… I hear “anybody” but when looking at authentic lyrics, I’ve been wrong before.

Bwhahahaha! This is the biggest piece of crap I’ve ever heard! I heard this on the radio with my boyfriend (he’s a heavy metal type of guy), we were laughing so hard at the ridiculous lyrics and the rip-off Les Claypool bass.
Geeze. It makes metal-heads sad.

I love Nickelback…It seems like they come out with a song and everyones talking about them, but once the song gets old or over played they come out with a new one thats even better than the last. I have to say this song is very addicting!

Actually this is quite good, almost as good as I can produce. compliment, if u missed it)
Good flow, nice use of fade, font sizes, and choice of font.
Minor criticism; you’re missing a few words. (specifically the word “enough”; a few times)Trying switching out the BG (use fade)at the start of new each tempo change or lyric change. This would make it more asthetically pleasing.
Btw, which software did you use?
