Rock N Roll by Remi Nicole, Music Video, Lyrics and Review

The last time we heard from Nicole was in August, as she had just released the single Go Mr Sunshine and now she’s back with another single - Rock N Roll.

Her third single “Rock n Roll” was released digitally on November 5th, the CD will be released on the 26th November. The music video is now viewable on Youtube, and is gaining airplay on UK music channels.

Remi’s debut album My Conscience And I is set to be released on the 3rd December 2007.

Remi Nicole ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll’ (Island)
Instead of relying on in vogue affected lyrics about taking the washing out/blowing your nose/eating a cheese and pickle sandwich for lunch, Remi Nicole’s third single, ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll’, sees the 24-year-old Londoner remonstrating with those who assume her skin colour dictates her musical style. We’d also like to note that the hooks and pace are such that you could very feasibly do a ‘mum at a wedding two step dance’ to this without looking out of place. We mean that in a really nice way and like this a lot.
