Savior is the third single by American punk rock band Rise Against, from their fifth studio album “Appeal to Reason”. The song was released on June 3, 2009 and it peaked at number 4 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart and at number 16 on the Rock Songs chart.
It became the second single to reach the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, peaking at #34.
The music video for the song was directed by Kevin Kerslake and premiered on MTV2 on September 28. The video depicts the band playing in a construction site, while numerous people in animal costumes are shown fighting each other and are portrayed in human situations. You can watch it here.
