I hear lots of George Harrison in this album (the chord changes and slide guitar) as well as some strong ELO influence. I head “Love Is All There Is” over the speakers at Borders and wondered if it was some Jeff Lynne production, but it wasn’t.
Personally I’d like to see a few artists out there try an album with Jeff Lynne. He can really bring out good stuff in some artists. I’d like to see Sheryl Crow have him produce one of her albums. I think Prince or the Bare Naked Ladies would also be good.
