Simple Plan - When I’m Gone Review and Info

“When I’m Gone” is the first single from Simple Plan’s self-titled third studio album Simple Plan. It was released via iTunes and lala.com on October 29, 2007, in conjunction with a live webchat from the band. It has been promoted throughout the music industry, for instance, interviews have been conducted with Cosmopolitan, MTV, and Billboard magazine so far.

The music video is about a girl driving around town and dealing with her recent break up with her boyfriend who is played by Bouvier. She hasn’t gotten over him which makes her see him everywhere she goes. In the end, she calls Bouvier in hopes of rekindling the relationship. Bouvier hangs up on her. Scenes with the band playing against a black back drop are shown throughout the video.
