According to LAPD sources, Chris Brown turned himself in to authorities this evening and was booked at the Wilshire Division station on “suspicion of making felony criminal threats in connection with an incident involving his girlfriend, pop singer, Rihanna.”
He was accompanied by his attorney Mark Geragos and Geragos’ investigator Scott Ross and entered the station through a back door entrance.
Brown is being investigated for an incident that occurred early Sunday morning near Hancock Park in L.A. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the singer, 19, was in a vehicle with an unidentified woman in L.A.’s Hancock Park neighborhood around 12:30 a.m. Sunday when they began arguing. Police say Brown and the woman got out of the car and the argument escalated. It seems that the woman in his car was in fac this girlfrend, Rihanna, as rumors say that a woman called 911 and reported that the couple were apparently in a car together and got into an argument on North June Street, an area directly south of Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Police say the woman had visible injuries. When officers arrived, they found the victim, but Brown had already left the scene, police say. The LAPD is conducting an investigation into the incident.
Brown, 19, was taken into custody at 6:30 p.m. and was booked for criminal threat at 7:41 p.m. He posted $50,000 bail and was released.
The case is being presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office; additional charges may be filed. He is due in court March 5.
Brown and his girlfriend Rihanna pulled out of Sunday’s Grammy Awards at the last minute. “We have just been informed that Rihanna will not be attending tonight’s 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards. We’re sorry she is unable to join us this evening,” the Recording Academy said in a statement Sunday.
In a separate statement, the Academy said: “We have just been informed that Chris Brown will not be attending tonight’s 51st Annual GRAMMY Awards. We’re sorry he is unable to join us this evening.”
Earlier Saturday night, Brown and girlfriend Rihanna were at Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy party in Beverly Hills.
When contacted by Usmagazine.com, Rihanna’s rep said, “Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support.”

I think chris is absolutely right. He is so HOTTT!! and she is giving him such a hard time. He can’t take the pain any longer. Rihanna should know better that chris is still a kid and she is an old crow.

I think we shuold forgive him. What he did was wrong but he is very sorry. Jesus forgave the people who killed him so lets forgive C.b. Rihanna has. I still love him and her. they r in my prayers.

i think that DC3 is right and that we should forgive CB bc he made a mistake but everyone makes mistakes. so why not forgive c.b
