‘Spice Girls - Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)’ it is scheduled to be released as the first single from the group’s compilation album, Greatest Hits on November 12, 2007. The song will be the first commercial single release to feature the group’s original lineup since Geri Halliwell left in 1998. Halliwell described the single as a “Big Love Song” and “a Spice Girl Classic”.

This song shows they still have it as a group, that their voices are still strong, and that they will still be able to sell albums as easily as they did before! The song is excellent and I recommend this single to any and all Spice Girls Fans, as well as newcomers !

The song is great ! It is really nice to see them together again !

The video is kinda good, it could have been far better, why did they need to take all their clothes off ?
The director for this video is Anthony Mandler, he also directed in 2007 this videos, Duran Duran - “Falling Down” , Fergie - “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Shut Up and Drive” and “Hate That I Love You” by Rihanna.

Spice Girls - Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) Single Review

This is the Spice Girls’ first new single since they split as a group in 1998. Back then, they were one of the biggest pop groups in the world, but can they be again?
If you’ve heard any of their old stuff - like Too Much or Mama - you won’t be surprised by Headlines.
It’s got a similar sweeping melody and incredible catchy chorus.
All the girls take their turns singing on it but, apart from Mel C and Emma, it’s hard to tell them apart.

The lyrics are about friendships and being happy with your man with lines like these…
“Let’s make the headlines, loud and clear, The best things suddenly happen when you are here.”

The song is also the official Children In Need single of 2007. The five-piece will perform the song especially for the telethon on 16 November, live from Los Angeles. This will mark the first time in nine years that the Spice Girls have performed as a quintet.

On October 5, 2007, group members Melanie C and Geri Halliwell confirmed that the Spice Girls Greatest Hits album would be released on 12 November containing all their hit singles. Latest updates from their official website also announced that the group’s two new recordings, new single “Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)”, plus another track called Voodoo will be released in three different formats.
