Sugababes - Catfights and Spotlights Album Review

Catfights and Spotlights is the sixth studio album by English pop group trio Sugababes which was released in the United Kingdom on 20 October 2008.

With a title reflecting the band’s reputation for infighting, the Sugababes’ sixth album of original material is described as having a funkier and darker sound than previous releases, with extra emphasis being placed on the group’s vocal abilities. Continuing their relationship with producer Dr Luke, the Sugababes have also spent studio time working with Orson lead singer Jason Pebworth.

Sugababes are the most successful UK female act of the century, they have sold over six million albums to date and two million singles.
Catfights and Spotlights‘ is a good album by a talented band. Very catchy, mature and very well written, definitely worth buying, if you are a Sugababes fan. The album lacks a strong lead single, there is nothing on the album that stands up well with “Push the button” or “About you now”. If you are a new fan of the girls, we’d suggest getting their previous albums before hand.
