Sweet 7 is the seventh studio album by British pop band Sugababes.
It is scheduled for release in Europe on 5 March 2010 through Universal Music and then on 8 March in the UK through Island Records. The project features productions from RedOne, The Smeezingtons and Ne-Yo amongst others whilst Sean Kingston has a guest vocal on the album.
It is the first album from the group since signing up to Jay Z’s US record label Roc Nation and since the departure of the longest serving member Keisha Buchanan.
Sugababes have been around for 10 years and they are constantly changing their style and always come back with something fresh.
We are looking forward to this CD, it should be great, we doubt we will be disappointed.

“About a Girl“, the second single was produced by RedOne, it will be released on the 9th November. The music video was filmed with Keisha but was scrapped after her departure. However, Ewen filmed the video in LA with the babes shortly after getting the record deal using a new version of the song featuring her vocals. “About A Girl” is set to be the first single released in America in early December.
“Wear My Kiss”, produced by Fernando Garibay was released as the third single on 22 February 2010, two weeks before the album is released.
On 21 September 2009, it was officially announced that Buchanan had left the band, although she stated it was not her decision to leave. Buchanan, will now pursue a solo career with Island Records, whilst former Eurovision entrant Ewen becomes the new Sugababe.
