The BPA - Toe Jam Video and Lyrics

Toe Jam by The BPA, Music Video and Lyrics

The BPA or “Brighton Port Authority” is a collaboration between musicians Fatboy Slim and David Byrne.
The song features English rapper Dizzee Rascal.

‘The BPA’ debuted in 2008 with their song “Toe Jam“, along with a video featuring nude dancers with censor bars on them, making pictures and words with them.

It’s all slightly loopy innuendo, ecstatic, sexy and borderline disgusting - and this video pretty much takes that vibe and runs with it.

The song will be available to buy digitally on 7th July 2008.
The album itself, under the moniker Brighton Port Authority, will be out later in the year.

You can listen the song here, this is the official video, enjoy!

The BPA - Toe Jam Lyrics
Opening Lyrics
I was asked in New York City
“Do you like my clothes?”
Main Lyrics
…in between my toes
Complete Lyrics
I was asked in New York City, do you like my clothes
I’m talking to my tape recorder, walking down the road
but on Friday nights, I’m, purified that my feet don’t touch the floor
when the number meets the road, in between my toes

Everyday is fucking perfect, its a paradise
watch my life like its a movie, have to watch it twice
a boy looks at a girl, and a girl looks like a pony
she got looks all day long, in between my toes
and every night, she’s purified, she don’t do that dance no more
when the number meets the road, in between my toes

I’m skankin, I’m Bazzer Raseal, I’m drunk off that heathenisms
i ain’t sober, i dont mix with coca cola, or sober
at that “‘m a roller, i look over my shoulder
When i see that sexy figure, i think its time to walk my way over
so i shuffle on my heals, and bounce on my toes
I’m crazy and she knows, its Aubert i suppose
she picked a place and packed her arms
I looked behind and let her out
would not let her go until the sun came out
then i took her to my yard then i wrecked her up

I’m a member of the ju ju nation
down in new Orleans
you don’t need an application
if you move your feet

explode
if you poke it
exposed
on the floor
it grows
if you soak it
enrolls
out the door now

summer time, every night, now my feet don’t touch the floor
she don’t do that dance no more, in between my toes
him and you, you and I, I don’t do that dance no more
when the number meets the road, in between my toes

the lady starts to sing, but she ain’t no disco dancer
she learned to shake her thing, in between my toes

explodes
if you poke it
exposed
on the floor
it grows
if you soak it
enrolls
out the door

explodes
if you poke it
exposed
on the floor
it grows
if you soak it
enrolls
out the door

  2. Dombre Town Says:

Almost all of Dizzee Rascals lyrics are wrong! Most of whats written here makes no sense at all.

  3. blorg Says:

Yeah “the number meets the road”? It’s obviously “where the *rubber* meets the road”

  4. Dude Says:

I believe she gallops all day long, not she got looks all day long. She is a pony after all.

    dizzee:

i’m skanking on the dance floor getting drunk off that hennessy,
i ain’t sober, i don’t mix with coca cola or soda
but right now im on a roll-ah
i take a look over my shoulder
and i see this sexy thing, i think its time to work my way over
so i shuffle on my heels, and i buonce on my toes,
i’m crazy and she knows, still it’s all good i suppose
cos she (did i got?) play and she backed it up
so i got behind her and i lapped it up
but we danced all night til the sun came up
and i took her to my yard and i wrapped it up

    Corrections

    She gallops all day long.

    It rolls out the door.

    the rap is completely wrong.

  8. gigshaft Says:

And isn’t it “Where the RUBBER meets the road,” not “Where the numbers meet the road?”

  9. Don Wasyl Says:

No offence here, but I think in original it goes like this:
“Every gay is fucking pervert, with the pervert eyes”
