Love vs. Money is the second album from R&B singer, songwriter and producer, The-Dream.
The album was released on March 10, 2009 via Def Jam Recordings and The-Dream’s Radio Killa imprint.
2008 saw singer songwriter The-Dream explode with multiple singles from his debut album Love Hate, writing credits for superstars including Usher, Mariah Carey, and Beyonce, as well as being crowned the 2008 BET Awards Best New Artist.
LOVE vs. MONEY begins the next chapter of The-Dream’s odyssey, as he stands ready to surpass the accomplishments of his 2007 debut. “It took me awhile to know that the new album is better than the first one,” he says. “But it is. So now we know what you’re capable of, we know how many songs you’ve written for everybody, and you know we’re gonna do it again!”
This album is a futuristic mix of bangin’ hooks that really define this era. The songs are rife with layered vocals, sensual yet comical lyrics and wall-shaking bass.
Overall this is a pretty good album and The Dream has grown vocally since his debut, we are looking forward to the next installment.

“This album’s gonna be the same thing - a little more beefed up, I’m just gonna give you more. Every album I’m just gonna try to give you more of me, and what I think about certain things… This album is just gonna be the first album on crack, basically.
