The Rolling Stones Left EMI

After they counted, in 2007, loses of 216 million pounds and they announced that they will fire over 2000 employees, more and more artists thought of replacing EMI with other record companies.

If Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue and Coldplay are still thinking about it, The Rolling Stones announced officially that, on January 17, 2008, they signed the contract with Universal for the recording of their new album. It will be launched in March this year in music shops and on the Internet and it will include the songs from the soundtrack of the film “Shine a light“, produced by Martin Scorsese.

The documentary “Shine a light” presents the career of The Rolling Stones band and it will be on cinemas in April. In the cast appear Bill Clinton, Jack White, Christina Aguilera and Buddy Guy.
