“That’s Not My Name” is the debut single of British pop duo The Ting Tings.
It was released on 28th May 2007 by independent record label Switchflicker.
The single was released as a double A-sided single with the song Great DJ.
The band are re-releasing the song on 12 May 2008, a week prior to the release of the band’s debut album “We Started Nothing“.
It will include the b-side “That’s My Name ?“, featuring the names of fans who leave their names on a Ting Tings phoneline.
Katie will then incorporated the names into the song.

Why does she have to sing in a mockney Lily Allen accent? Very irritating song. Messy lyrics. Lazy name for a band. I don’t like them.

just because their not like the manufactured bands nowadays -ie- girls aloud (nothing personal to them, i like their music) dosent mean that their not good. their like a breath of fresh air, catchy songs and great indie style.
