Paper Trail is the sixth studio album by American rapper, songwriter, and producer T.I., scheduled to be released on September 30, 2008.
T.I. delivers his most potent and important LP to date, ‘Paper Trail‘.
The title is a direct reference to T.I.’s return to literally writing down his lyrics, a practice he hasn’t engaged in since his debut.
The album features guest appearances and production by Lil Wayne. Rihanna, Usher, The Dream, Fall Out Boy, Kanye West, B.O.B, John Legend, DJ Toomp, Swizz Beatz, Drumma Boy, & Danja.

The first single of Paper Trail, “No Matter What“, was posted on StreetCred’s website on April 29, 2008, as a promotional recording, then released as a single on May 6 along a music video.
On August 19, 2008, the single “Whatever You Like” was made available for digital download. The song reached the number one spot on the issue of September 6, 2008 on the Hot 100, as well as setting a new record for biggest jump to the top position in a week on the chart, going from number 71 to number 1.
“Swing Ya Rag” was released on August 26, “What Up, What’s Haapnin‘” on September 2 and “Ready for Whatever” on September 23, 2008.

this is easily the best album of the year on every genre this is straight fire one of those beginning to end albums with no skips except maybe for porn star but jus one skipable track it incredible in a time when most albums produce 2 to 3 ipod worthy tracks and 8 -7 skippable tracks jigga better step it up on blue print 3 or we have a new king

Simply a brilliant album. From beginning until end, there isn’t one song that is boring, everything is sick. I really adore The Carter 3 but this album is definitely the album of year so far.

Best album of the year and possibly my favrorite Album from T.I. thus far. From beginning to end, every song is on point….and i cant get enough of number 12, “every chance i get” damn that shit be jammin. Im glad to see him drop an album of this caliber and bounce back from all the shit he was goin thru. THE KIINGS BACK!!

This is a great album from beginning until the end. It is in a great battle in my opinion with Young Jeezy’s The Recession for album of the year. This a really thoughtful album that is well paced and written. My favorite song as of today is “You ain’t missin nothin”. Real hood dudes will feel that.

I feel this album was created with much thought, more emotions, very personal, shows his growth and situations that almost everyone can relate to. I love all his albums. I just purchased paper trail yesterday so right now my favorite track is “Slide Show” featuring John Legend this song is amazing from the beat, to the lyrics, and the realness…this entire album shows the King’s worth makes me proud to be from the south…thank you T.I

ive been a tip fan since im serious his debut n this album has ta b his by far album a da year n honestly tha best song is tha intro 56 barz c’mon how many suckaz in da rap game produce an intro dat hot wid no chorus or a fuckin hook T.I IS BY FAR BETTER THAN WAYNE and proved it

This is an 12 outta 10 album, its single sare hot and it’s fillers are good enough to hit number 1. His songs are beleivable and you can feel he means what he’s saying. Ti has always been a fun typa artist rather than meaningful but u get to know alot more of TI from this album…
