Tom Baxter - Better Lyrics, Video and Review

Better by Tom Baxter, Music Video, Lyrics and Review

The song was released on December 3, I think it’s romantic and beautiful and the lyrics are nice, what more can I say, things always get better. :)

Here is the official video for the song.

Tom Baxter - Better Lyrics

Our love has changed,
It’s not the same,
And the only way to say it -
Is say it - It’s better.

I can’t concede,
This way I feel,
For all the time we spent, together,
Forever - Just gets better.

See what I’m trying to say is:
You make things - better
And no matter what the day is,
With you here - it’s better.

I’ll stand by you,
If you stand by me.
I think time that I, reveal it,
‘Cos I believe it -
It’s better.

See what I’m trying to say is:
You make things - better
And no matter what the day is,
With you here - it’s better.

Ooooh the more - I - talk - to - you
The more in love with
Ev - ry - thing - you - do

Doo doo doo doo doo doo (hum chorus)

See what I’m trying to say is:
You make things - better
And no matter what the day is,
With you here - it’s better.

Our love has changed
It’s not the same
And the only way to say it -
Is say it - It’s better

Tom Baxter - Better Review

Tom Baxter is a singer-songwriter based in London. Born in Suffolk, he grew up in Cornwall, with both parents regulars on the folk music circuit.

Tom Baxter supported Nerina Pallot on her UK tour in January 2007. After splitting with Sony in 2007, he recorded his second album Skybound independently, to be released on the revived Charisma label through EMI on 7th January 2008.

THE blurb states that inoffensive number is from the soundtrack of the execrable film Run Fat Boy Run.

That does not really do it credit, as it’s not as bad the film, itself.

But it does sound like one of those ‘love songs by numbers’ that are used in films to cover a ropey montage of ‘will they, or won’t they-style’ scenes

Within the context of a film, this is fine but it does not have much life as a stand alone single.

My sister-in-law absolutely loved the song, and she just lost her battle with cancer this week. Her daughters played it as the last song at her funeral, because it reminded them of how much love they had from and for their Mother.
