“Just Stand Up!” features the vocals of Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Sheryl Crow, Fergie, Leona Lewis, Keyshia Cole, LeAnn Rimes, Natasha Bedingfield, Melissa Etheridge, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Ciara, Ashanti (in this order).
American song-writer and producer Antonio “L.A.” Reid conceived the collaboration after a meeting with the founder of Stand Up to Cancer, which will benefit from the proceeds of the record.
Reid co-produced the track with American singer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, and the single was released on August 29, 2008.
All featured singers performed “Just Stand Up!” live on the “Stand Up to Cancer” telethon which aired simultaneously on ABC, CBS and NBC on September 5.

I liked this song alot but couldn’t stand it because of Cyrus. Thank goodness someone I knew took it upon themselves to record and dim Cyrus’ voice down…. Nothing against Cyrus personally (of course).

I love this song! God blessed all those young woman with beautiful voices. Miley sang out of tune though. I have nothin’ against her though, I’m just saying it woulndn’t hurt Miley to take voice lessons! She used to be a really good singer like when she was 12, and 13, and 14. But sadly, i really think that she ruined her voice. She rocks out too hard when she’s live, and after years of doing that to her voice, she’s paying a high price for it! She loosing her ability to sing! Like i said, Miley used to have a very good voice. But if you want to hear bad voice, listen to “Party in the USA”!!! She sounds like a dying moose in that song! I somewhat like her. She ain’t the best! Selena and Demi are the BEST! And Selena and Demi don’t take half naked pictures of themselves!! Noughty Miley! She says that she’s a Christian. But i don’t think a real Christian should and would do that! I thought her parents raised her better then that! I think Miley is okay, but i’m disapointed with some of the choices she’s making right now, example: POLE DANCING AT THE 2009 KIDS CHOICE AWARDS INFRONT OF THOUSANDS OF BOYS AND GIRLS, MILEY WAS WEARING SHORT SHORTS, {When i say short, i mean you could barley tell she was wearing any pants at all!} And she had a very tight shirt on. And in the middle of Pary in the USA Live, she stared poll dancing!!!
AND SHE ALSO TALKes STRIPERS PICS OF HERDSELF AND POSTS THEM ON THE WEB and calls them “ART” THat’s not art miley!
